WHAT www.freelancentral.my IS ALL ABOUT?

www.freelancentral.my is a website launched by Teknik Kreatif Sdn Bhd on the 24^th of September 2011 to encourage and support freelancers in Malaysia. These freelancers delve into various fields such as photography, programming, website designing, graphic designing, law, medicine, accounting, ISOs and many others. www.freelancentral.my helps create platforms for these freelancers for free so that they can advertise their portfolios from all their past works in their own personal profiles once they have registered with the website. These portfolios may be in either image or video form. Furthermore, upon their free registration, they will be given a space to advertise all products or services which they are selling or want to purchase. This space is known as the “freemarket”.

SO HOW DOES  www.freelancentral.my HELP YOU?

Let’s say you are a buyer who has just purchased a house, and now you need a landscape designer’s services. However, you do not know where to obtain such a service. This is where www.freelancentral.my comes in, and makes your search so much easier. What’s more, you can also evaluate your designer-to-be by viewing his portfolios. www.freelancentral.my only provides an advertising service, though. All other matters and details of sale and purchase are up to you and the seller, or service provider in this case, and is not the responsibility of www.freelancentral.my.

FREELANCENTRAL PHOTO CONTEST

The photo contest begins on 1.10.2011 and ends on 30.11.2011.
The main goal of this poster design contest is to promote the www.freelancentral.my website in today’s modern community.
We are looking for striking digital images of nature, highlighting the diversity of life on Earth. It can be architectures too. Your images may be taken anywhere in the world. Your images may show animal behavior, portraits of wildlife in natural habitat, plant life, natural landscapes, buildings, weather or people interacting with nature.
We are especially interested in images that showcase the wide range of habitats across our planet, including all types of forests, grasslands, lakes and rivers, rainforests, marine habitats coral reefs and many more.

Conditions:

1.    Eligibility
The Freelancentral Photo Contest is open to residents of Malaysia (in and outside of the country) with noage limit,  except for employees of Freelancentral.my, their families or anyone else associated with this competition winning.

2.    Sponsor
The sponsor of the contest is Freelancentral.my

3.    Contest Period:
The photo contest begins on 1.10.2011 and ends on 30.11.2011. Winner will be announced within the first week of December 2011.

4.    How to enter:
- Entries should be submitted by via email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Entries must be labelled with the entrant’s name and image files must be lower than 2MB and in JPEG format. Entrants should include their own name, address and telephone number.
- Participants must register at www.freelancentral.my and also “Like” freelancentral.my’s official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/freelancentral.my)
- Participants must also add freelancentral.my as a friend in Facebook via this link:

- Freelancentral.my  is not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete entry of information by entrants; lost entries or transmissions, interrupted or unavailable network, server, or other connections; scrambled transmissions or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, or electronic, technical malfunctions or computer hardware, software, or any combination thereof; or problems associated with any virus or any other damage caused to entrants' systems.
- The image must be your original work. You must be the sole author and owner of the copyright of all image entered. Images containing human nudity/sexy/harassment/racism are expressly prohibited.
- Each participant may submit an unlimited amount of entries. Each image can only be entered once. Duplicates will be removed.
- Any technique in editing photos is allowed.
- Administrator will upload the photos in freelancentral.my fb page within 12-36 hours after we receive it in our email.
- Get your photos as much as possible “likes” then you will able to stand a chance to win this contest.

5.    Selection and Notification:
- Only ONE winner will be determined by way of majority “likes” received and the winner will be announced within the first week of December 2011. The winning prize MUST be collected BEFORE 15th December 2011.
- Any entry which fails to meet all the conditions stated above WILL be disqualified.

6.    Prize:
A 4.25 gram gold coin equivalent to 1(one) gold Dinar

7.    Publicity and Privacy
Submission of an entry constitutes consent and agreement by the entrant and any person that is recognizable from the photo(s) to a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license for Freelancentral to use, display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the photo(s) or portions of the photo(s) whether or not combined with other images, text and graphics, and cropped, altered or modified, on the Website and/or potentially other places with or without the entrants name (e.g. a photographer credit), for editorial, advertising, publicity, marketing and promotional purposes, without further compensation except where this is prohibited by law.
